Hi, 

 

My name is Jodie.  That's a picture of me and my mom.  I don't have a picture of me and my dad because he's always taking the pictures. 

 

My favorite things are Harry Potter and making things.  I especially like making things with my dad as it's so fun.  Here are some of my projects.

 

 

 

 

My dad bought me a book called Woodworking for Kids.  It's great because it has lots of good projects and there are lots of pictures showing you how to make things. 

 

These are two animals I made.  Dad helped me with the wheels but I cut out the animals.  I also glued everything and painted them all by myself. 

 

 

 

 

This is a box I made.  It was hard to get the pieces the right size.  My dad helped me make the top round but I sanded all the parts.  I also nailed and glued it together.  I'm a good at nails. 

 

 

 

This is the spice rack I made for my mom.  It was a hard project but I learned to use clamps.  The hardest part was cutting the big piece on the back.  It took a long time and my hands got tired.  My mom really likes it.

Dad and I built this shelf so that I'd have a place for my books.  Pretty neat, isn't it?

I hope you like my projects.  I've made lots more but dad only has pictures of these ones.
