Sawdust Chronicles 60-Day Challenge

I’m a lucky guy!  The postman just arrived and I’m the proud owner of an original, “don’tcha wish you had one” t-shirt from The Sawdust Chronicles.  In case you’ve been off living on a desert island and haven’t heard, The Sawdust Chroniclss is a woodworking podcast/blog by Rick Waters.

While I’m talking about Rick I should tell you a bit about Rick’s contest.  It’s a laid-back affair but there are lots of juicy prizes so I encourage you to enter.  Rick’s current contest has the twist of letting you decide what you want to build but the final product must either be donated to a community organization or it must benefit wildlife in some way.  It’s not too late to enter, and you have until the end of October to finish your project.  I encourage you to check out the details at TSDC’s 60-day Build Challenge and listen to Rick’s Episode 25 podcast that explains it.

Oh…as a disclaimer, Rick sent me the shirt cuz he’s a really nice guy, not so I’d mention his event.

Cheers — Larry

  1. Nice score, Larry! Wear it proudly. :o )

    Larry,
Thanks for posting about the contest!
Watch out though. The shirt’s not the best quality. So, the ink will fade a LOT in the first washing. It doesn’t fade after that though. It’ll just look well worn.
    :)
